Design Elements of Unity Temple

David Sokol is the author of the book The Noble Room which gives a historical perspective of Wright’s process in designing and building Unity Temple, as well as the life of the congregation that hired him. To complement our blog, we are adding a video series titled “Unity Temple Talks with David Sokol” with short videos highlighting features from the book.

In this video, David discusses the design elements of Unity Temple, observing how several of Wright’s earliest drawings for Unity Temple show substantial changes that took place from his first designs to the finished product.
